What's Happening At Battle Arts

About Us

Battle Arts Academy opened its doors in September 2013. Battle Arts is a 13,000 sqf multi-use facility that was the brain child of Mississauga native Anthony Carelli, also known as WWE Super Star Santino Marella. In conjunction with Terry Frendo of Inside Fitness magazine, they intend to become an icon in the GTA’s Health and Fitness industry.

Battle Arts Academy serves the community is a multitude of ways. "It’s a World Class Training Center that just happens to be in the neighbourhood." We offer:

Anthony Carelli

Owner, President, Pro-Wrestling Coach, Kids Judo & Wrestling Coach

Anthony Carelli or better known as WWE's Santino Marella is a Mississauga native. Anthony has practiced Judo for more than 32 years and has been a black belt for over 26 years. Battle Arts Academy is his vision, his passion, and his baby, please enjoy it!

Yuki Ishikawa

MMA, Submission Wrestling & Kids Classes

Yuki is a master instructor from Koshigaya, Japan. He moved here to Canada to share his vast knowledge of grappling and submissions with us at Battle Arts Academy.

Tony Wallace

Kettlebells & Boxing

Tony Wallace is a certified Personal Trainer, Boxing Ontario recognized Boxing coach, and Level 2 Kettlebell instructor. Tony coaches our boxing program and in one short year has produced a Silver Gloves Champion, a Golden Gloves Champion, and member of the National Team and a Canadian National Silver Medalist, AND . . . its for everyone!

Triston Brookes

Cardio Kickboxing, Lean & Fit Camps

Triston incorporates Boxing / Kickboxing into his fun and intense boot-camp style training session, perfect for losing weight and getting toned. Learn to find your limits, and then surpass them.

Darryl Sharma aka Hornet

Professional Wrestling Coach

Hornet's classes - attended and acclaimed by WWE Superstars including Tyson Kidd, Cesaro, and The New Day - bring his experience from wrestling across Canada, USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Japan.

Natalie 'Sugar' Brown

Boxing & Combat Fitness Coach

Natalie is currently ranked in the top 10 worldwide professionally. She's a 3 time National Golden Glove Champion, USA and Jamaican National Champion and she’s noted for gaining 2 World Silver Medals. Her values and morals of honesty, dedication, discipline and a winning attitude has reflected in her successful career as an elite athlete. She has a passion for empowering others.
